The Following list of House Rules applies to all Guests:

Smoking
Is only allowed outside on the back or front yard except for the Scollen room balcony. No smoking is the policy for inside of my home.

Pets
We have two small dogs in residence. Guests’ pets are welcome for as long as they are well behaved and do not become a nuisance to other guests. Please keep pets off the beds and chairs. Guests with pets should bring their own baskets, bedding, water and food bowls. We will provide old towels on the front porch in wet weather. For an extra charge we also offer a pet walking service. Pet owners are responsible for compensation of any damaged property.

Guests
Westways registered guests may have friends to visit but they are responsible for any damage or loss of property. We ask our registered guests to escort their friends to the front door when they depart.

Hot Tub       
The hot tub area is clothing optional and we provide housecoats and slippers.  Guests may request exclusive use for privacy and this may be arranged with your hosts. It is normal practice to shower before using the hot tub and the hot tub is closed down from 11:30pm to 7:00am.

Footwear
It is a Canadian custom for visitors to remove their shoes when entering a home during inclement weather.

Keys
Guests receive a set of front door and room key on arrival. There is a charge of $10 for any lost keys.

House Hours   
There are no restrictions as to what time guests can come and go. It is common courtesy to be quiet if you are returning late at night.

Breakfasts 
Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM 
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Please notify me by e-mail or on arrival of any special dietary requirements.

Gratuities
Tips are discretionary, though the custom is to tip your room service provider $3 to $4 per each day of stay up to $20.00 or more per week.

Parking
Free parking on our private paved yard. During winter, plug-ins are provided.

Luggage
Calgary Westways does not have an elevator; therefore all luggages must be carried 2 to 3 flight of stairs.
If you are staying at Westways for only one night and have several or large suitcases, please pack a smaller case for that night and we will be happy to store your extra cases. 
Please be careful with large suitcases. Anyone wanting help with his or her luggage we are more than willing to assist.
Oversize backpacks have to be hand carried to the rooms.
